TRUMP SIGNS EXECUTIVE ORDER RENAMING PACIFIC AND ATLANTIC OCEANS TO OCEANS OF AMERICA

WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Donald Trump announced today that the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans will officially be renamed the “Oceans of America,” continuing his administration’s ambitious campaign to make America’s maps significantly more patriotic.

The move follows the recent renaming of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America and Lake Ontario to Lake America, the latter taking effect today.

“People kept asking me, ‘Mr. President, what about the other bodies of water?’” Trump reportedly said. “I said, ‘Why stop there?’”

According to sources, the administration is now considering additional changes.

The Great Lakes could soon become the Great American Lakes, while the Mississippi River is reportedly being considered for the name “America River.”
